We've reimagined one of our most popular images into a 1000 piece jigsaw. This image depicts over 500 buttons collected by James Luckcock, a jeweller and button maker in St Paul's Square, Birmingham in the 1780s. Dating from between around 1770 and 1830 they were made at a period when Birmingham buttons had an international reputation. The Luckcock Collection is almost entirely composed of buttons made to be worn on men's coats or waistcoats.
